We accompany you in all phases of construction or renovation of your building and furniture (residential house, commercial or administrative building, hotels, etc ...) by designing and producing your furniture with the wooden and compound materials you need.
Our engineering approach is integrative and generally consists of 8 phases or stages:
- Study of customer requirements
- The technical design of the structure
- The development of the book
- La réalisation d’un prototype
- The installation of the prototype at the customer's premises
- Mass production
- Serial installation at the customer's premises and
- Maintenance
1. Study of customer requirements
Our sales representatives and engineers are at your disposal to collect all your needs and analyze your requirements. We work closely with architects, building construction manager, clients and authorities to ensure the perfect knowledge and mastery of the specifications of the equipments to be designed as part of your project. If there are no specifications, we draw it up with all those concerned by bringing our expertise. This is what characterizes our integrative approach.
Our field visits allow us in this phase to obtain more extensive information and to take dimensional measurements if necessary. It is also in this phase of the project that we analyze any normative requirements and clarify them with the competent authorities (e.g. fire safety, etc.).
2. Technical design of structures
Our design work begins after the specifications have been finalized. Based on the information collected, we design your works thanks to the know-how of our engineers, who have a perfect mastery of their profession.
They come from engineering schools in woodworking, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and computer science and have very in-depth knowledge of digital technologies.
Our designs are made using modern tools such as Computer Aided Drafting (CAD). The drawings are made in both 2D and 3D. In the design phase we use more 3D drawings to show the client a more realistic photo of his work for appreciation. 3D allows us not only to visualize the structure in all directions, but also to simulate the position of the structure in its future environment in the form of interior architecture. Our 3D drawings are then discussed with all stakeholders in order to obtain validation of the geometries, colors and other details of the works.
Our 3D drawings are then discussed with all stakeholders in order to obtain validation of the geometries, colors and other details of the works.
The interfaces of our CAD systems also allow the reading of our 3D models by several CAD systems used by architects.
3. Development of works
The development is done following the validation of the 3D models of the designed works. The different parts or assemblies of 3D models are detailed in 2D for a calculation of the strength of materials. On the basis of the wood species or material chosen, the parts or assemblies are definitively sized in order to be able to withstand the stresses to which they will be subjected.
It is also during this phase that we choose the hardware elements according to the use of the work and the mechanical constraints. For example, a private bedroom door that opens and closes 10 times a day will not have the same lock requirements as a public office door that opens and closes at least 10 times in an hour every day.
To our development is attached a methods office where from our 2D drawings we define the entire manufacturing process with the machining range and quality control plans. Our methods office also deals with the definition of the surface finishes of parts and assemblies in order to obtain in manufacture the placages or dyes required in the specifications.
4. Realization of prototypes
In agreement with the client, we carry out on the basis of our definition drawings and the results of our offices methods of prototyping the works. This phase allows us to develop and verify the tooling necessary for manufacturing, suppliers and all quality processes.
It also validates the design and development of the structure in our internal processes before presenting it to the client.
5. Installation of the prototype at the customer's premises
Once the prototype of the work is finished in our workshops, we install it on site or at the customer's site. The objective is to show on a real model, the results of our design, development and manufacture so that all concerned can validate compliance with the specifications.
6. Serial production
After the installation and validation of the prototype on site, we manufacture the works in series. In this step we do not recommend any modifications, as they would generate additional costs and delays in the execution of the site.
7. Serial installation at the customer's premises
We have all the equipment and personnel necessary for the installation of series structures in construction sites. In collaboration with the parties concerned, we develop an installation plan to avoid task collisions on construction sites.
Our installation techniques are designed to be effective in time, while guaranteeing a good quality of the work and the safety of our employees.
8. Maintenance
Any equipment may be subject to an anomaly of use, aging or maintenance. As part of our engineering services, we offer you the maintenance of your structures.
Our maintenance concept is based on 3 points:
- Inspection,
- Repair and
- Renovation.
As part of the inspection, we check with the naked eye, touch or measuring devices the condition of your works and give you the estimate of the remaining life.
For repair, we analyze after inspection the damage to your work and offer you solutions to improve the failures observed.
Renovation, on the other hand, generally consists of improving the condition of your works, both visually and functionally because of ageing, damage or defect. It can be done by simply renewing the surface conditions of the structure or by changing some damaged parts of the structure or even by replacing the work in question. If the replacement of the entire structure also results in an increase in its functionality, we will also talk about modernization.
